More pictures of tile sets have been added to the Bone and Bamboo section of the Tile Set Galleries, Category 2.0. These sets primarily date from the period 1950-1970. All are hand carved, usually bone and bamboo and come in flat boxes with a slide on top panel engraved with sinograms. The tiles are small and the quality of the engravings is of high quality.

For those interested in collecting mahjong sets or are just interested in mahjong history or some other aspect of the tile set, a new magazine will be launched in due course. It will have articles on tile set history, tile set restoration, Flower tiles analyses and articles on general topics for the collector. Replete with full colour photos of tiles sets and accessories, the centre pages will feature a picture of a tile set spread across both pages. Watch this space for further developments.
