A new tile set has been added to the Garland Price Gallery in the Private Collections category.

The tile set (#61) contains some very interesting features – the # 1 Bamboos and Circles for example. Of most interest are the 16 Flowers. These represent scenes from two famous dramas, Romance of the Western Chamber and the play The Peony Pavilion. The engravings are of very high quality and when connected form scenes from these stories. Accompanying the illustrations in the gallery is a brief but in-depth translation and description of the tiles and incidents from the stories they represent.
